This article explains how to set up your Two-Factor authentication on your PyreCast account.

Set up two-factor authentication

Step 1: Open Account Settings

• Log in to your PyreCast account and click Settings in the top right corner of the screen to access your Account Settings page.

Step 2: Locate Two-Factor Authentication

• Scroll down to the Manage Two Factor Authentication (2FA) section.

Step 3: Start 2FA Setup

• If two-factor authentication is currently turned off, click Set Up 2FA to begin the setup process.

Step 4: Choose a Verification Method

• Select how you would like to receive verification codes:
  • Authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy) (recommended)
  • Email verification, which sends a 6-digit code to your email address from no-reply@pyrecast.com
• If you choose an authenticator app, follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup. If you choose email verification, enter the 6-digit code you receive to confirm.
• Note: You can turn two-factor authentication on or off at any time and switch your verification method from the Manage Two-Factor Authentication section in Account Settings.
